I started using Amazon when someone gave me a gift card for my birthday. I thought it was just for books but I was surprised to be able to get everything. I have bought boots, a telescope, and even health food products on there. I browse regularly to find great deals. Its truly a marketplace right at my fingertips. I feel like the website gives me the power to compare and shop wisely. The layout is very user friendly. The customer service is awesome and the shipping is on time according to when they tell me it will be shipped. I'm looking forward to doing most of my Christmas shopping this year via Amazon. It's much better that fighting the crowds and the deals I get are just as good if not better.

Their customer service has gotten spotty the past few months, nothing serious, just ppl not knowing what they're talking about, they may have recently hired a bunch of new folks, hard to say. But nonetheless, I've been treated with utmost respect every time I've purchased from them. They have replied to every concern I've sent promptly (and I tend to ask a lot of questions!). I've had a lot of marketplace sellers advertise products as "like new", and 9/10 of the time they aren't, but when I've felt undeniably let down by this form of deception, I've contacted the sellers as required, and 9/10 of the time, they treat me as respectfully as Amazon does, and as for the rest, Amazon has saved the day. A couple sellers left bad tastes in my mouth. I usually don't have enough dough to shop directly from Amazon's inventory, but when I have, I've noticed their delivery times are on par with the marketplace sellers', even when you factor in the 3-6 day delay they implement for free Super Save shipping (4 days to ship + 3 days for delivery). All in all, these guys are good. I feel safe with them, I will continue to buy from them.
Jeg havde en bøvlet oplevelse med amazon, da jeg skulle bestille 2 bøger. Det viste sig at jeg havde stavet leveringsadressen forkert, og da det ikke lige var sådan at ændre, blev jeg nødt til at slette hele min ordre. MEN, pengene var allerede reserveret på mit kort, og amazon ville på ingen måde slette det. Min bank ville gerne hjælpe mig, men de kan ikke slette det før de havde fået grønt lys fra amazon, og det ville de ikke gi'!!
.. Det endte med at jeg måtte vente på at pengene blev frigivet automatisk. Magen til redelighed.
.. Desuden er deres hjemmeside meget rodet og forvirrende. De har mange knapper som fører samme steder hen. Unødvendigt rod.

I was an Amazon customer for years, but now I simply cannot trust them with my bank details anymore.
The last order I had with Amazon was for a headset, which arrived faulty. Totally not Amazon's fault, after all. they didn't manufacture it, but I phoned them up to arrange a return and replacement. They said they'll happily replace it and they'll email me the details of getting the replacement underway, and all was well and good and I was happy.
That was, until I got the email. It was an email obviously for another customer, with what they ordered, their full name, their city, bank details, all of it, right in the email. I phoned them up again to alert them of the error they've made, and to ask them whether my details were also compromised. And from then on, it just got worse and worse.
No apology, no investigation, no reassurance that my personal details weren't sent to another customer. They didn't care. I asked for my account to be closed and for my personal details to be removed from Amazon, as, obviously, I couldn't trust them anymore. They refused. Despite the fact that, under the Data Protection Act, they're legally obligated to remove my details if I request it, they felt out refused.
I wouldn't expect this from an established, large company like Amazon. I'm sure they deal with millions of transactions without a fault, but when a serious fault happens, like it did for me, they don't care. I'm still pretty shocked that such a thing happened. It's a shame that Amazon are so irresponsible with customer's data and so unapologetic over it, but I can't overlook that just because their prices are good.
Avevo avuto recensioni molto positive di questa azienda da amici e parenti, per cui a Natale 2012 avevo comprato un orologio particolare (era comprensivo di un braccialetto, una coppia di orecchini e di ricambi) per mia moglie. Il risultato? un disastro, in quanto l'oggetto era difettoso e il perno dell'orologio saltava continuamente. Ho segnalato il difetto all'azienda in questione e ho provveduto a rispedire al mittente l'oggetto, ricevendo non solo le scuse di rito ma anche il rimborso. Fin qui tutto nella norma, perché quando si sbaglia, ci si corregge e stop. E invece no. Oltre alla restituzione delle spese sostenute per l'acquisto del prodotto, mi sono state restituite in toto le spese di spedizione, senza alcuna polemica, cosa che ho molto gradito, perché non è una cosa automatica. Difatti, pur avendo esordito male, ho sfruttato Amazon il mese scorso per l'acquisto sia del Kindle, che della custodia in pelle. Tutti possiamo sbagliare, anche le aziende più famose, perché nessuno è perfetto: la differenza tra una azienda buona e una leader, è proprio in questi piccoli, ma importantissimi dettagli: riconoscere l'errore e non accampare scuse. Il cliente corretto, ne prende atto e torna sempre, quando ne ha l'occasione.
Lost count of how many items I have bought from them over the last few years but they really do have this on-line sales malarkey cracked because I cant remember one bad experience with them.
Deliveries are very reliable, items always come well packaged and price wise they are invariably the cheapest ... makes you feel sorry for the competition!
Amazon è LO STORE. Non c'è nulla di meglio. Offre di tutto e di più, a prezzi iper competitivi, con un occhio di riguardo per il cliente che nessuno ha.
Acquisto regolarmente da loro dall'apertura di amazon.it (ho acquistato anche su .de) e non ho MAI avuto un minimo problema.

I am in love with all the free movies and shows you get as an Amazon Prime customer in addition to the shipping savings. I have had a couple issues with their customer service but in all not enough to be terribly upsetting.

Je commande régulièrement sur Amazon, et je n'ai jamais eu de problème! Dernièrement, un colis commandé n'a jamais été reçu (perdu par la poste sans doute...). J'en ai informé Amazon, qui a renvoyé la commande sans me poser plus de questions. Très bon commerçant!
What's not to like? Amazon.com is pretty much the best thing to happen to me since I moved out on my own. The prime shipping is a great perk, and the selection is bigger and cheaper than Costco. I may never shop in-store again...
It's no doubt that amazon has a very good reputation for their large product choice, competitive prices and efficient delivery system. They have the best delivery system i've experienced. So 100% confidence in shopping on amazon's site.
